COVID GAINS

“This Six Nations was one of my favourite periods of my career. Covid was awful and a real bad time for a lot of people. We were stuck in a hotel but privileged to keep doing what we do. We weren’t allowed to go home or to see anyone but it made us closer as a group.

“We ended up loving it. We were so lucky to hang out together and we got some big wins. This was after the first win at Twickenham for 38 years, which was amazing.

“I came off the bench to see out the game and it was an incredible feeling. Then we had another big win in France at the end as well.”
