n 2022 the British Government finally lifted measures curtailing public events and gatherings. The rules had been in place for two years in an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic from spreading. Event organizers welcomed the news and immediately set about planning their shows, including those involving military vehicles and re-enactors. One of the first shows to announce its return was the hugely popular British Wartime in the Vale Show, held at Ashdown Camp, Badsey Road, Evesham).
