Sunak to seek ‘sustained humanitarian pauses’ in Gaza after fighting resumes

Rishi Sunak said he will issue renewed calls for “sustained humanitarian pauses” in Gaza after fighting resumed.

The Prime Minister met Israeli President Isaac Herzog on the sidelines of the Cop28 climate talks in Dubai to discuss the conflict.

He also held talks with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar and Jordan.
