Among discerning fashionistas, Hollywood stars and even royalty, Italian designer Luisa Beccaria is highly prized for her exquisite, dreamily ethereal couture, lifestyle and prêt-à-porter collections.
Her most famous creation in the UK is the ivory and blush tulle wedding gown worn by Lady Gabriella Windsor for her nuptials at Windsor Castle in 2019 – a magnificent occasion attended by Queen Elizabeth II and a host of senior royals, including the bride’s parents and Luisa’s friends, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
So, when another special bride, Lucrezia Bonaccorsi Beccaria – the daughter of Luisa and Sicilian aristocrat Don Lucio Bonaccorsi di Reburdone – was dreaming of not one, but seven dresses for her four-day nuptials, also held at a historic castle, she knew who to entrust with the designs: her mother.

“Lucrezia enjoyed being a bride so much,” Luisa tells . “Every day she wore different dresses in shades of white. It was her
