Mehmet Koray Alpergin: Thugs found guilty of kidnap killing of radio DJ near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Two thugs have been found guilty of killing a popular radio DJ in a bar near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and locking his girlfriend in the toilet.

Mehmet Koray Alpergin and Gozde Dalbudak were snatched as they returned home from an Italian restaurant in Mayfair, central London, last October, the Old Bailey was told.

They were taken to an empty wine bar backing on to White Hart Lane, where 43-year-old Mr Alpergin was said to have been beaten, throttled, scalded with boiling water, stabbed, maimed
