    Amy Dowden reveals how Strictly helped her through cancer treatment

    Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has revealed how the popular BBC series helped her through weeks of chemotherapy, after she was diagnosed with cancer.

    The 33-year-old professional dancer, who has appeared on the celebrity ballroom dance competition since 2017, was forced to sit this season out after Dowden was diagnosed with grade in May.
