Auction expectations

New data from market expert Hagerty suggests that sellers’ expectations when selling their classic car at auction are too high, and they need to be more realistic when setting reserve prices. The gap between low estimates – which generally align with reserve prices – and the highest bids has reduced by almost 10 per cent across six major UK summer auctions in comparison
