FC Cincinnati head into MLS play-offs in top spot

Five years after FC Cincinnati won a regular season championship in the United Soccer League, the second tier of US Soccer, the club is celebrating the equivalent title in MLS.

This year, Cincinnati claimed MLS’s Supporters’ Shield — the silverware awarded to the team that finishes top of the overall regular standings across the Eastern and Western Conferences combined.
