Pullen aiming high

WEST HAM teenager Freddie Pullen continued his purple patch by being named Best Technical Boxer at the Golden Gong in North Macedonia. England sent five boxers to the event in Skopje – and they all came back with gold.

There were gold medals for Reece Readshaw (51kgs), Shaun Huddart (57kgs), Osama Mohamed (63.5kgs), Teagn Stott (Sheffield Boxing Centre) and Pullen at 60kgs.

Amanda Coulson, England Performance’s Lead National Coach, was named Best Coach.
