FORMER British PM David Cameron’s return to cabinet after seven years has been met with mixed reactions in the UK. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak brought the former leader back as foreign minister in a recent reshuffle triggered by his sacking of interior minister Suella Braverman after her criticism of police threatened his authority.
Cameron was prime minister for six years and spearheaded the “golden era” of UK-China relations, when there was a deepening of economic ties between the two countries.
