Preservation pioneer and engineer presented with MBE at Tywyn

TALYLLYN Railway stalwart volunteer John Bate was formally presented with his MBE on October 26 at Tywyn Wharf station in the presence of family and friends from the line which he has been involved in for more than 70 years.
