Utility White Wyandottes

The Utility White Wyandotte is a breed of American origin arriving here in the last quarter of the 19th century. Their productive potential was quickly recognised and what was initially good was further improved to the point of excellence. One hundred years ago they were to be found on most poultry farms in this country, probably about the fourth most popular breed for commercial production.
