“It really is purely just to give back to our clients, ”Audio Solutions co-founder Tony Stantzos says of the product showcase the hi-fi store has just hosted. The evening event, which saw Bjorn Bengtsson from Nordost and Johan Corg from Hegel demo their brands’ latest releases alongside JBL Classic and Studio Monitor speakers, was Audio Solutions’ first since the pandemic and marked a return to the store offering customers semi-regular opportunities to get in front of brands.
“It’s not a sales thing for us,” says Stantzos. “These guys and girls come in here and we spend a lot of time with them, and they become friends and family — a lot of the industry will tell you that because they’ve been to our events and seen our relationships with our clients. So if we can get important guests from overseas like Bjorn or Johan, and actually get our clients to meet with the products that they’re buying, they can get the story about them, see where they come from, and meet the people
