Source: ES

Somehow an entire year has flown by, and we’re back to that time again. Yes, it’s almost time to smash open your Black Friday piggy bank in anticipation of the biggest sales of the year.

If you’re looking to replace expensive items like tech and household essentials like a mattress, Black Friday is the best time of the year to save hundreds on the RRP. Prices tumble across the board - more so even than the Boxing Day and January sales - helping savvy shoppers save money on big brands.

It’s been a firm fixture on the shopping calendar for decades now, and with the cost-of-living crisis continuing to bite hard, there’s never been a better time to join in on the shopping bonanza.

When is Black Friday?

The exact date for Black Friday shifts every year as it takes place the day after the US celebrates Thanksgiving. The easiest way to remember is that it happens on the fourth Friday of November, this year that is November 24.

What is Black Friday?

It’s a massive sale,. It might have started as a one-day thing, but now you can see the discounts start weeks ahead and wind up on the following Monday, known across the world as Cyber Monday.
