Joel Rosen, Baldwin-Motion Performance

Joel Rosen, known to legions of muscle car fans as “Mr. Motion” and as one of the founders of Baldwin-Motion, died at age 83 on October 9th, 2023, after a year-long battle with bladder cancer.

The Brooklyn, New York, native majored in engineering at Brooklyn College. Frustrated by the lack of hands-on experience available, he left after two years and joined the Air Force. It was at the Reciprocating Engine Mechanics School at Texas’ Sheppard Air Force Base where Rosen honed his skills
