The Christmas klaxon has officially sounded, so this festive issue of is here to get you fully into the holiday spirit roomsets are taken down at the Ideal Home Show Christmas on 26 November, that’s always my cue to get the decorations out and start adding the flourishes to my own home – and I’ve been hugely inspired this year by Ami Wootton’s go-to-town approach to dressing every space on p46. I tend to alternate between a real and faux tree, depending on how much time I have and how many guests we’ve got coming over Christmas and New Year. But the traditions I always stick to are buying a few new baubles to inject colour and joy (turn to p90 for our quirky favourites), as well as making something simple for the table.
