Film: THE MARSH KING’S DAUGHTER

British actor Daisy Ridley has been quietly carving out a post- career and has even moved into producing,her foray back into big-budget sci-fi, did not go so well, and this thriller based on Karen Dionne’s 2017 novel is a much leaner affair. It’s directed by Neil Burger (Limitless) and co-written by Mark L Smith, who co-wrote Ridley is the child of Ben Mendelsohn, who abducted her mother and kept them in the wilderness. Her survival skills will be needed when he escapes and comes for her family.
