An English country garden
Classically trained in Florence, Henrietta Abel Smith paints meticulous flower portraits in her Chelsea studio, featuring flowers picked from her mother’s garden in the Cotswolds. Garden designer, Rosie Abel Smith created her garden from scratch 31 years ago, and the garden where Henrietta grew up is, she says, her favourite place in the world. An English Country Garden can be seen at the Osborne Studio Gallery, London, from 15 November to 3 December.
