Montgomeryshire ploughman Evan Watkin, from New Mills, was crowned the Welsh Ploughing Champion 2023, for the 15th time, at the 63rd All Wales Ploughing and Hedging Championships, writes Anne Bates.
The event, on Saturday 9 September, was hotly contested, with Evan pipping a previous two-time champion, Rhodri George of Hayscastle, Pembrokeshire, to the top spot.
