It’s that time again! Another year nearly gone and the next looming on the horizon. These days I don’t know how I’d manage without at least a couple of calendars around the house, with upcoming events, visits, reminders to pay bills and friends and family birthdays all clearly marked. Yes, I could do all this on my smartphone (smarter than me, certainly), my laptop or my desktop PC, but there’s something about having the paper calendar hung on the wall that can’t be beaten. It’s available instantly and can be updated and amended, if necessary, at the stroke of a pen.
Here we have two impressive calendars from American publisher Octane Press. These are of substantial dimensions being 17in wide and 2ft high when opened out. That’s about 430mm wide by 700mm high for us metricated Brits. Farmall Tractors provides a wdozen stunning photos of vintage tractors ranging from 1930 to 1967 and highlights International Harvester’s Farmall tractor brand very well. Farmall targeted the smaller farming operations, concentrating on producing rugged and reasonably priced machinery that could be used for row-cropping and orchard use.
