Sarah Siddons: A lost centenary year?

ORIGINALLY planned to haul a heritage trip in January 2023 (RE322), in the end the Metropolitan Railway electric locomotive No.12 Sarah Siddons has been inactive all year, with no announcements regarding any railtours across either London Underground or the national network, where it had previously operated.

This will have come as a huge disappointment for enthusiasts who may rue having lost the opportunity to enjoy the locomotive during its centenary year.
