ONE-year after the death of her son and his fianceé in a crash on the N3 near the Mariannhill Toll Plaza, Minority Front MPL Shameen Thakur Rajbansi has called on the national and provincial government to build a separate road for trucks.
In the KZN Legislature earlier this month, Thakur Rajbansi moved the motion, noting “the frequency of truck- related accidents on the Peter Brown N2 exit resulting in trucks moving at high speed down Old Howick Road”.
