GBV shock in Indian areas

SHOCKING statistics reveal that up to 200 cases of gender-based violence (GBV) incidents are reported in Chatsworth and Phoenix each month.

The SA Outreach and Emergency Services GBV desk in Chatsworth said it dealt with up to 30 cases a week, while the Chatsworth Child Welfare sees an average of 45 to 60 new cases of GBV a month.
