THE ROGER ALBERT CLARK RALLY: THE BEST JUST GETS BETTER

More than ever this year, the Roger Albert Clark has captured the imagination of competitors and spectators alike and 160 crews will gather in Carmarthen on Wednesday (November 22) for the start of an epic five-day adventure through the forests of Wales, Scotland, and England.

It is the longest and toughest special stage rally the UK has had for decades and competitors have responded in their droves. As before, the event features two key elements: the competition for historic-specification cars and the Open Rally, which offers the chance for crews in any two-wheel-drive cars to take part.

Under the direction of rally manager Colin Heppenstall and his family, this biennial rally is a mammoth undertaking for everyone involved and the sense of excitement and anticipation has been building for months. It is a rally that takes many people back to the heady days of the 1970s and 1980s when the original RAC Rally was the biggest event on the UK calendar.
