Show me the way to go roam
We have used a Huawei mobile router with an EE SIM for WiFi data when in Europe, mostly France. However, since the changes thanks to Brexit, we now need to pay an extra £10 per week as you probably already know.
This was quite a nuisance as we could not pay ahead for more than a week and so, when our roaming ran out, we could not top up without WiFi! It is a very frustrating system.
We are in Guernsey and would like to know what other SIM options would be available. We have been told about Three Internet with Legs, but I think I saw it is going to introduce roaming charges, too.
Our local providers are very expensive, so not an option. We have also been told about Giffgaff, so don't know if this would work. We even tried a French SIM, but that didn't work in our WiFi router.
I see Tesco advertises a good rate but again this is unknown. We bought £15 of data from EE, which gave us 24GB but paid another £30 for roaming for three weeks.
We would appreciate any advice readers have.
