    Census shows decrease in SA's agri households

    South Africa has seen a decline in agricultural households according to Census 2022, owed to increasing pressure on the agriculture sector by various factors, including high input costs and low returns.

    Statistician-General Risenga Maluleke presented the data to President Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria in early October.
