TOYOTA FORTUNER FROM $53,775

Toyota discounted Fortuner by more than $5000 in late 2017 to fire up sales; they took $3000-$4000 of that back with the 2021 update and upped prices again by around $4000 this year.

Still, the base Fortuner GX costs $53,775 — around $9000 cheaper than Prado GX, which has the same drivetrain, and more than $40,000 cheaper than the base LC300! Poor man’s Landcruiser, indeed.
