BUYING gifts for anyone is always challenging. The “buying” bit is not such a problem but making the decision what to buy is always my great difficulty.

We could be quite unimaginative and think about (yes) birds or cages or spray guns. Some might go as far as to consider a subscription to a magazine such as Cage & Aviary Birds. It comes down to the fact that most experienced birdkeepers have what they need for their hobby – they’ve already bought it!

So if we give the obvious a bit of a miss, let’s look at something more unusual: not very expensive, a bit different and something kids might buy for their birdkeeping aunts, uncles, mums and dads.
