Secret lives of Australia’s favourite Weather Presenters

MIKE BAILEY ABC, Sydney

Mike was known as the ABC’s “legendary” weatherman and was there for decades, beloved for his unflappable nature. He once revealed he regretted being typecast as a weatherman, saying, “I have moments when I do regret doing the weather but you can only live life one way.”

In 2007 he retired from the ABC to run for Labor against Joe Hockey in North Sydney, but was unsuccessful.
