HERE WE go again. It seems as if Christmas never went away. It lasts for months. They were still flogging cut-price mince pies and Christmas puddings in my local supermarket in February and had already restocked by September. Don’t laugh, I took a photo of the shelves groaning with such dire fare then and we’d not even got out of our summer shorts or had Halloween or Guy Fawkes Night.
