Where was Lotus?

As someone who used to spend their pocket money on Performance Car and later progressed to an evo subscription, I feel I’ve been on the 25-year journey with you guys and like I’m part of the family. So I am compelled to question how a Lotus didn’t feature in any of your writer’s individual top 5s or the overall top 25 of your ‘Most Significant Driver’s Cars’ special issue?

Lotus has won the eCoty trophy twice (Evora in 2009, Exige V6 in 2012) and its models are often used as benchmarks in group tests, so it would be interesting to hear why none of its cars made the cut.
