Test: Waves StudioVerse

tudioRack has been familiar to Waves users for a few years now. In the latest version, it has been given a new feature called StudioVerse, through which thousands of effects chains from top Mix Engineers and Producers are now accessible. In a constantly growing community, users can share their chains of Waves plug-ins and VST3 plug-ins from other manufacturers. StudioRack is free, but requires licenses for the effect modules that are being used. To really exploit the potential of StudioVerse, one of the two subscription models is recommended: Waves Essential with over 110 plug-ins or Waves Ultimate with more than 230 plug-ins. The remarkable thing about StudioVerse is that there are also numerous creations by renowned Mix and Mastering Engineers like Andrew Scheps, Manny Marroquin, Chris Lord-Alge andartists like Devin Townsend, Mick Gordon (the composer of the DOOM soundtrack), Young Guru and Josh Wink.
