Delfina Delettrez Fendi has a great sense of both excitement and responsibility in her role as Fendi’s creative director of jewellery. “I am happy being able to do what I love in a maison I can still call home,” she says when we meet in Rome. “Everything is extremely familiar to me, it is beautiful. It’s really about adding a personal touch.” Charged with bringing sparkle to a storied Italian brand, the 36-year-old conceived Fendi’s first-ever full high jewellery offering in July.
