‘Urinating student’ fails in bid to overturn expulsion

EXPELLED Stellenbosch University student Theuns du Toit, who was ousted over a urination incident, lost his legal bid to have his expulsion reviewed.

Du Toit turned to the Western Cape High Court, sitting in Cape Town, for the review and setting aside of the decisions of the Central Disciplinary Committee and the Disciplinary Appeal Committee of the university, made against him.

He also wanted the court to find him not guilty
