Pensioner’s nightmare shopping trip after being kidnapped, tortured by ‘3 fat women’

BEATEN, choked and burnt with cigarettes, a Durban pensioner is in hospital after she was lured out of The Atrium shopping centre in Overport on Tuesday, accused of murder and then bundled into a car and tortured for hours by three “fat” women while a young man drove them around.

The 62-year-old woman says she was walking down the spiral staircase in the shopping centre when an elderly woman suddenly touched her from behind and said she needed help.
