On 21 March 2017 at 2:25 am, twin sisters Leaundra and Lemae Matthews, then 19, made a distressing emergency call.
They’d been in Leaundra’s room when they’d heard a scuffle from the basement.
Specifically from their brother Christian’s room.
And when officers arrived at the scene, they found Christian, 17, unresponsive.
He was rushed to hospital but tragically pronounced dead on arrival.
Police suspected foul play.
Bruising around his neck showed asphyxia as the cause of death.
