My favorite Hendrix moment or song would have to be “Castles Made of Sand.” Jimi’s writing is remarkable, and I just love the way he bases this song with the chords he plays. I was fortunate enough to get to play this song in Austin at the Jimi Hendrix Experience 80th birthday show last year. It was a surreal moment for me.
