A Stellenbosch university student has lodged an appeal against a ruling she regards as “derogatory” and “undermining” of her African spirituality.
The university’s Central Disciplinary Committee (CDC) also slapped Sylvia Tshongweni with a sanction prohibiting her from running for leadership in 2023/2024.
