Newbuilds may upset world container rankings

CONTAINER SHIPS

Pandemic profits, combined with expanding environmental mandates and new technologies, have generated a massive ordering of container ships, with a record 385 vessels of 2.22 million total TEU capacity to be delivered before the end of this year and 391 ships of almost 3.00 million TEU in total capacity scheduled to be delivered
