COLLECTING POSSIBILITIES FOR THE FUTURE

“Prediction is very difficult, especially if it’s about the future!” No less a mind than Niels Bohr, winner of a Nobel prize in physics, is credited with that saying – although so is baseball great Yogi Berra. Yet when it comes to the collecting community, many of us tend to give it a try on a regular basis. We do make purchases based on how beautiful a specific coin is, or how much we need it for our collection. But in many instances, we also buy with an eye to what a specific coin, token or medal will be worth in the future. So why not devote a bit of time and thought right now, and make a few difficult predictions about the future? Here are a fistful of ideas
