● As the crime drama returns for its eighth series, Ashley Jensen stars as DI Ruth Calder, who goes back to her native Shetland Islands after 30 years away. She’s been working for the Metropolitan Police in London and she’s back to retrieve Ellen Quinn’s Phyllis Logan and former villain Don Gilet among the cast.
