A Starfire is even better once you get used to it

Hi Matt, I read with interest the article on the Starfire in October’s issue. Having owned one of these little beasts for a few years now, an early ‘68 model, I have a few observations which may be useful. The main problem is that 10.0:1 piston, which can make them difficult to live with. The clutch can slip on compression and the clutch springs need to be screwed
