‘YORKSHIRE VIEWS’ OCTOBER Yorkshire shows, past and future

OUR shows are the lifeblood of our hobby and each club revolves its whole existence around its yearly event or events. Therefore, the more successful its show is, the more the club should flourish.

We have, however, come under threat from avian flu restrictions in recent years, which have at times resulted in enforced cancellation of events within restricted zones.

Apart from our governing bodies that represent our hobby continuously putting the case of the way our birds are housed and cared for during these breakouts, we have little or no control over government laws imposed upon us.
