In January 2022, Harry Colledge was out for a ride with a friend in Lancashire when he hit a pothole and tragically died from the resulting injuries. The pothole in question was visible on Google Street View since 2009, taking the form of a long, wide, deep crack-cum-trench in the middle of the country lane.
