I vividly remember the day my mum told me there was going to be a new breakfast show. She read about it in the newspaper and casually mentioned it. I didn’t think anything more of it, until my agent called me to go for a screen test. All she said was, it’s a new breakfast show set in a house. I had been working on, which I loved. It was live and spontaneous. I wanted more of that, but every day.
