1 TO FRAME OR NOT TO FRAME, THAT IS THE QUESTION…

Just as high fashion looks to the catwalks of Paris, London and New York to take the temperature of next season, you only need to look at galleries which show work by leading contemporary artists to see what’s hot and what’s not when it comes to frames.

Mark Greer, who studied at Glasgow School of Art, has run Art Hire Framing for the last 35 years. His client base reads like a Who’s Who of Scottish art. His Glasgow workshop recently framed more than 250 works by his artist father James Greer for a retrospective at the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie.
