START-UP COSTS: ‘Initially, ChaufHER was funded by friends and family – until we had a venture capital investor join the company. It is fair to say that there is never quite enough capital to bring all the plans to life. We are on the lookout again for more capital.’
TURNOVER: ‘Each month, more and more women are using our service, and rides are increasing. Turnover, however, needs to be about 10 times higher before we turn a profit.’
