6 DISCOVER DEEP-SKY IMAGERY

While astro landscapes can look incredible, they can’t match the awe, wonder, scale and detail of deep-sky shots taken with a long telephoto lens. You’ll need an optic such as a 300mm prime, although the 600mm end of a 150-600mm lens would also work well, while a camera body with an APS-C sensor will help you zoom in even further.
