RATE the stats of the original Nissan Leaf by modern standards, and it’s staggering to see how far the electric vehicle has progressed in little more than a decade. The changes are most apparent when it comes to battery tech: within its 4,445mm footprint, the Leaf houses a 24kWh battery, of which 17.9kWh is usable. Today, in contrast, a Volkswagen ID.3,
