watchOS 10 contains a lot of important improvements for cyclists, including the ability to calculate personalised power zones from your activity andwatchOS 10 can then estimate your Functional Threshold Power, which is the highest average power you can sustain for an hour, and tell you what power zone you’re in. In addition to the colour-coded zone indicator – ranging from blue for easy to dark red for super hard – the view shows your elapsed time, your time in the zone, your cadence in RPM and your power output in watts.
